Ms Galindo stated house was vandalized and windows were broken, wants time to
repair to code. She said initially interior inspection was scheduled but she cancelled
and met with Don LaBrenz. Nick Kroes asked how much time is needed for repairs.
Ms Galindo said approximately 3 months for exterior and would have interior
inspection done. Ed Simmons asked if house was presently occupied which Ms
Galindo said house was vacant at this time. Ken Murar said electric was turned off in
early June due to meter being pulled off home. Nick Kroes asked if Ms Galindo would
be opposed to having a interior inspection, she answered it would not be at problem to
schedule an interior inspection. Mark Kincaid said staff would not be opposed to
giving Ms Galindo more time but wanted to make the board aware of 2 other
properties that Ms Galindo was associated with one going back for taxes and the other
demolished so recommended timeline be kept short to insure progress. It was
recommended by staff that an interior inspection be conducted immediately so the all
repairs could be assessed.
