OLD BUSINESS:

Annual Action Plan 2022: Comment period ended 4/30, commission meeting had questions that
will be added. The budget will not be submitted until we have #s from HUD. Love INC has
applied for money, they used to be a sub-recipient (2015) but have not requested money since
2018. They used to operate with Senior Millage funds but could not serve anyone less than 60
years old. They will receive money from CNS now (approved by City Commission). The funds
will not be presented to them until the Action Plan is approved by HUD (may be July).

NEW BUSINESS:
CDC Board Nominations: Perry Dennie was nominated (he accepted the nomination) to be the
CDC Chair by Veania Coleman, seconded by Jennifer Ross. Jennifer Ross was nominated (she
accepted the nomination) by Veania Coleman, seconded by Paul Kurdziel. Both motions to
nominate the Chair and Vice-Chair passed unanimously.

HOME ARP Hearing: 1.2 million dollars was received to help the most vulnerable section of
the population. Our at-risk kids are being sent to other areas (Ludington and Whitehall). We
would like to bring back something like Webster House was in years past. The funds have to be
spent by 2030.
