Citizen’s District Council Meeting

December 6, 2022

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Perry Dennie at 5:37 pm.

ROLL CALL:
Roll call was taken by Samantha Pulos, and a quorum was present.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
       ✓ A motion to approve the minutes from May 3, 2022 (Action Item) was made by
         Paul Kurdziel; Veania Coleman supported the motion, which passed
         unanimously.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:
None.
OLD BUSINESS:

Veania Coleman motioned to have meetings every 3 months vs. monthly. After discussions, it
was agreed that a 2023 meeting calendar will be reviewed and discussed during the next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:
Sharonda Carson introduced herself since Oneata’s retirement. Also introduced the new CNS
staff members and their responsibilities. Will have staff at next meeting.

STAFF REPORTS:
CNS Projects: 769 Catawba and 562 E Dale are the current CNS rehab projects.
Love Inc and Youth rec club (Boys and Girls Club) has received their funding for the year
Early Chilcare – Received their funding for the year
Priority Home Repairs – 65-70% of budget has been spent. Applications have been put on
hold as it is thought that out of the 3 year promo, enough applications have been received.
Recidential Façade – 65-70% of the budget has been spent.
Home Buyers program – funds have been spent and program is on hold
Home ARP program for the youth - $1.2MM received. Working on youth drop in center.
Still in planning stages.

GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Members brought up that they are pleased to see recaps of the current and upcoming programs.

ADJOURN:
Paul Kurdziel motioned to adjourn the meeting, Veania Coleman seconded the motion, which
passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 6:26 pm.

NEXT MEETING:
The next meeting date is: February 7, 2023.
