Approval of minutes from the February 7, 2013 HBA meeting.
III. Dangerous Building – Old Cases:
EN-100199 – 1170 Allen (Garage only) – K. Jordan & S. Jenkins, 1277 E
Isabella, Muskegon, MI 49442
A dangerous building inspection was conducted 12/01/2010. Notice & Order was
sent 12/02/2010. This was tabled until April 2011 at which time it was removed
from the agenda due to the owner obtaining a permit to repair the garage. The
permit has since expired and as of 1/25/2013 the garage walls remain standing but
there is no roof on the garage. A new notice for this HBA meeting has been sent to
the owners on 3/20/2013.
EN-110128 – 1597 Park (House & Garage) – Shannon Woodley, 09169 57th St,
Grand Junction, MI 49056.
Originally there was a case for just the Garage that started 12/15/2010. The HBA
tabled the case until June 2011 with the garage to be secured. The home was then
added 7/20/2011 as it had been boarded for 120 days. The garage case was then
closed and a new case was opened to include the garage and the home. A Notice &
Order was sent 7/19/2011 with an interior inspection scheduled 8/26/2011. The
HBA tabled this case in November 2011 until the next meeting in December 2011.
The owner obtained a permit to repair everything per the dangerous building list so
this was removed from the agenda. The permit expired 5/8/2012 with monthly
progress inspection being required. An exterior inspection was performed 2/4/2013
and found that the work was incomplete. A new notice for this HBA meeting has
been sent to the owners on 3/20/2013.
