Regular Meeting Minutes

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner David Wendtland at 4:01PM.
Also present: Commissioner Kevin Huss, Commissioner Johnny Brown, Kristen
N. Wade, Civil Service Director, Jim Maurer, IT Director, Dwana Thompson, EEO
& Employee Relations Director, and Lisa Vanderlaan, Departmental Clerk.
II. MINUTES
Motion was made by Commissioner Huss and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the regular minutes of the March 12, 2018 meeting.
Motion Carried.
III. ACTION AGENDA
A. Computer Usage Policy. IT Director Jim Maurer explained some of the updated
changes to the Computer Usage Policy. Some of the updates that were explained
were internet posting & social Media, general use & ownership, installation &
removal of software, exporting software, and blogging. Commissioner Wendtland
asked if City Attorney John C. Schrier reviewed and approved the updates. Jim
confirmed that Mr. Schrier approved of the updates.
Motion was made by Commissioner Huss and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the Computer Usage Policy.
Motion Carried.
