Regular Meeting Minutes

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner David Wendtland at 4:01PM.
Also present: Commissioner Lawrence Spataro, Kristen N. Wade, Civil Service
Director, Dwana Thompson, EEO & Employee Relations Director, Leigh Ann
Mikesell, Director of Planning and CNS and Lisa Vanderlaan, Departmental
Clerk.
II. MINUTES
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by
Commissioner Wendtland to approve the regular meeting minutes of
the June 8, 2020 meeting.
Motion Carried.
III. ACTION AGENDA
A. Approve the following job description: Business Development Manager.
Motion was made by Commissioner Wendtland and seconded by
Commissioner Spataro to approve the Business Development Manager
job description.
Motion Carried.
IV. OLD BUSINESS
V. OTHER BUSINESS
Kristen N. Wade, Civil Service Director, advised the Commissioners that at the
next City of Muskegon Commission meeting there was going to be a vote on a
3 year extension of the current Human Resources contract that the City of
Muskegon has with Muskegon County.
