Regular Meeting Minutes

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Johnny Brown at 4:07PM.
Present: Commissioner Johnny Brown, Muskegon, Michigan and Commissioner
Larry Spataro, Muskegon, Michigan. Also present: Kristen N. Wade, Civil
Service Director, Ann Miesch, City Clerk, Amy Smiley, Department of Public
Safety Administrative Supervisor, Dwana Thompson, EEO & Employee Relations
Director and Lisa Vanderlaan, Departmental Clerk.
II. MINUTES
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve, with correction, the regular meeting minutes of the May 10,
2021 meeting.
Motion Carried.
III. ACTION AGENDA
A. Approve the following job descriptions: Deputy City Manager, Farmers
Market Manager, Property Room Officer, and Administrative
Assistant/Event Coordinator
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Brown to approve the Deputy City Manager, Farmers Market Manager, Property
Room Officer, and Administrative Assistant/Event Coordinator job descriptions
as presented. Commissioners asked questions of staff. Discussion ensued.
Motion Carried.
