MINUTES
A meeting of the Election Commission for the City of Muskegon was held at City
Hall, City Clerk's Office, 933 Terrace Street, to approve consolidation and
renumbering of precincts. The meeting was called’to order at 5:00 p.m. on
Thursday, November 30, 2023.
Present: Election Commission Members — Casey Allard, Wanda Matsey, Betty
lvory-Roberts; and, City Clerk Ann Meisch.
Motion by Allard, second by lvory-Roberts, to approve minutes of the November
2, 2023 meeting. Motion carried Unanimously.
Motion by Allard, second by Matsey to approve moving approximately 300 voters
registered within the area south of Apple Avenue, east of Wood Street, north of
Forest Avenue, west of Getty/Chestnut Streets and southwest of Evanston
Avenue/McLaughlin Street from current Precinct 6 into Precinct 5 and to
consolidate and renumber all precincts as follows: Precinct 1&2 into Precinct 1;
Precincts 3&4 into Precinct 2; Precinct 5 into Precinct 3; Precincts 6&7 into Precinct
4; Precinct 8 into Precinct 5; Precinct 9 into Precinct 6; Precinct 10 into Precinct 7;
Precincts 11&12 into Precinct 8; and Precincts 13&14 into Precinct 9. Motion
carried unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 5:20 p.m.
