MINUTES
A meeting of the Election Commission for the City of Muskegon was held at City
Hall, 933 Terrace Street, Muskegon, MI at 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
Present: Election Commission Members - John Bronsema, Wanda Matsey, and
Louis Soyke, and Deputy City Clerk — Kimberly Young.
The Election Commission adopted a resolution to consolidate precincts 3 & 4 at
Muskegon Middle School and precincts 6 & 7 at Muskegon City Hall for all
elections except elections held in even years August and November.

RESOLUTION TO CONSOLIDATE PRECINCTS
WHEREAS; The Polling Location for Precinct 3 in the City of Muskegon is located at 1150
Amity, Muskegon Middle School; and
WHEREAS; The Polling Location for Precinct 4 in the City of Muskegon is located at 1150
Amity, Muskegon Middle School; and
WHEREAS; The total number of voters for both precincts 3 & 4 does not exceed 5,000
voters; and
WHEREAS; The Polling Location for Precinct 6 in the City of Muskegon is located at 933
Terrace Street, Muskegon City Hall; and
WHEREAS; The Polling Location for Precinct 7 in the City of Muskegon is located at 933
Terrace Street, Muskegon City Hall; and
WHEREAS; The total number of voters for both precincts 6 & 7 does not exceed 5,000
voters; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Precinct 3 & Precinct 4 at the Polling
Location at 1150 Amity - Muskegon Middle School shall be consolidated
for all elections conducted in the City of Muskegon except for the Primary
Election and the General Election conducted in the even years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Precinct 6 & Precinct 7 at the Polling Location at 933
Terrace Street — Muskegon City Hall shall be consolidated for all elections
conducted in the City of Muskegon except for the Primary Election and the
General Election conducted in the even years.
