Sherman Blvd Road Construction Open House

Join City of Muskegon Department of Public Works (DPW) staff at McGraft Park Community Building to ask questions and learn more about the upcoming road construction project on Sherman Blvd. City staff will also be able to answer questions regarding the coordination of Roosevelt Park’s road construction on Glenside Blvd from Sherman to Broadway.

Sherman Blvd Project Summary:
Rebuilding Sherman from Barclay to Seaway. At the end of this project you will have a new concrete road. Some sidewalks will be replaced in areas that are affected, and new trees will be planted after the project is done. The project may begin in July; more information on the schedule will be given to you as the project gets closer. It is expected to take about three months which means it may be done around October 1. These times could change as the project goes on.

Glenside Blvd Road Project:
This is a Roosevelt Park road project, but we are providing information for residents as the municipalities plan together.
Rebuilding Glenside from Hackley to Sherman. At the end of this project you will have a new blacktop road. Sidewalk will be added near Sherman, and a new non-motorized path will be added to the east side of the road. More information on the schedule will be given to you as the project gets closer. It is expected to take about two months once it starts. This could change as the project goes on.
