State of Michigan Webinar To Focus on Social Equity Program Help Into the Marijuana Industry

December 1, 2021

MUSKEGON,  MI – Have you been intrigued by the cannabis industry in Muskegon and across the state and how social equity programs might be your path to a new business opportunity?

Michigan’s Marijuana Regulatory Agency is producing a series of Social Equity Education Sessions that might bring your business dreams into reality. The next will be a statewide webinar featuring Bryon Swift, the owner of Swift Cultivation LLC in Kalamazoo.

The free, online webinar will be Thursday Dec. 9, 2021 at 11 a.m.

Swift will tell his story of entering the state’s marijuana industry. He will discuss how he worked with a local municipality like the City of Muskegon along with the state’s MRA in planning, licensing and operating his marijuana production business. Swift participated in the State’s Social Equity Program, designed to assist participation in the marijuana industry by people from communities that have been disproportionately harmed by past marijuana prohibition and enforcement.
