Planning Commission

The role of the Planning Commission is to make, adopt, regulate, and promote a master plan for the physical development of the City of Muskegon. This master plan includes recommendations for the development of the territory, and the Commission may amend, extend, or add to the plan. The Commission shall have power to promote public interest in and understanding of the plan and may publish, distribute, and employ means of publicity and education as it may determine. The Planning Commission shall adopt regulations governing the subdivision of land within its jurisdiction.
