My name is Mason Adkins and I am a Police Officer assigned to the Crime Activity Team. I was a Corrections Officer with the State of Michigan from 2015-2019 and currently a Police Officer with the City of Muskegon. I grew up in Muskegon County area and now have this great opportunity to give back to our community by protecting and serving. I am committed to building relationships with the community and working together to make our city a safer place.

“My name is Alex VanderWal and I have been an Officer with the City of Muskegon Police Department since 2019. I am currently in the Crime Activity Team, where our goal is to increase positive police presence and contacts within the community. I function within our department as an evidence technician and a Field Training Officer to our newly hired Officers. I grew up within Muskegon County, I attended Muskegon Community College where I received an Associate’s degree and attended Grand Valley State University for the Police Academy. My goal is to deliver a professional and respectful demeanor with each contact that is had while servicing this community.”
