Officer Simon Herrera
My name is Simon Herrera. I am currently the Middle School Resource Officer. I have been with the Muskegon Police Department since 2022. I most recently served as a Patrol Officer.
Most of my life I have been from the Silver Lake area, but I moved around a lot as a child as my parents were migrant workers. I went to college for a short time at Central Michigan University before deciding West Shore Community College in Scottville MI, would be a smarter path for me to take. Things that I am enjoying right now are Jiu Jitsu, Running, lifting, playing Elden Ring, and watching sports.
