Order “Fire 150th” Limited Edition Gear by Oct 1, 2023
The Muskegon Fire Department was founded in 1873. 2023 marks the 150th year of dedicated service to the citizens and visitors of the City of Muskegon. From humble beginnings in which hand-drawn carts were used, to the modern machinery used today, the men and women of the Muskegon Fire Department have been ready to make the ultimate sacrifice for anyone in their time of need.
In order to highlight the storied history of the Muskegon Fire Department and all of its traditions, we plan to honor this milestone with a month-long celebration. This aims to be a celebration of the department, education of community members, and commemoration of all current and retired firefighters of the Muskegon Fire Department.
