Community Relations Committee Open House
The City of Muskegon’s municipal boards and commissions are an excellent way to serve our community by volunteering your time and talents. Muskegon’s many boards and commissions are comprised of residents and business people who volunteer to assist the operation of city government and community. There are 21 different boards and commissions to choose from, many requiring no other experience or qualifications than a commitment to serve and give back to the community.
There are currently over 30 vacant or expiring terms. Vacant positions include:
- Community Dev Block Grant/CDC -1
- Construction Code Board of Appeals -1
- Farmers Market Advisory Board -1
- Lakeside Business Improvement District -1
- Local Development Finance Authority -2
Individuals interested in serving on a municipal board or commission may simply fill out and submit the application in the link below or come to the Community Relations Committee Open House on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 4-5 PM at City Hall.
