HOME Investment Partnerships Program – American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP)
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 appropriated $5 billion to provide housing, services, and shelter to individuals experiencing homeless and other vulnerable populations, to be allocated by formula to jurisdictions that qualified for HOME Investment Partnerships Program allocations in Fiscal Year 2021. The City of Muskegon has worked with a number of service agency partners to create opportunities for vulnerable populations in Muskegon County.
Comments received during the public comment period ending February 10, 2022 were reviewed during our partnership meetings. Projects under consideration:
Youth Services/Center
Affordable Housing –Rental (Continuum of Care)/Homeownership
Partnership Service Agencies
Public Hearing
The City of Muskegon will be holding a Hearing concerning the projects/activities selected for HOME ARP funding. Comments will be heard at the Muskegon City Commission meeting Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.
