Lakeshore Trail Closure on 5/19/24 for High Voltage Line Work

Consumers Energy notified us that they will be conducting work on their⚡High Voltage Transmission Line⚡this coming weekend on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

For the safety of users, the Muskegon Lakeshore Trail will be closed from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 19, 2024. The portion of the trail that will be closed will be mostly along Richards Park.

Signage and Baracades will be as follows:
A: Trail Closed Ahead Sign | Near Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve
B: Barricades & Signs for High Voltage Work | North of Richards Park
C: Barricades & Signs for High Voltage Work | South of Richards Park
D: Trail Closed Ahead Sign | Near Fisherman’s Landing

Consumers will place trail closure notifications and barricades at the locations reflected above and in the images attached ONLY during the closure period and then removed.
