Muskegon County Launches 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment Survey

Residents Encouraged to Share Feedback by August 20 to Help Shape Local Health Priorities

MUSKEGON, MI — Local health systems and community partners across Muskegon County have officially opened the 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) survey, inviting all residents to share their perspectives on local health needs and quality of life.

Conducted every three years, the assessment serves as a critical tool for local health leaders to identify pressing health challenges, evaluate existing resources, and establish collaborative priorities that directly benefit the community.

“Your feedback helps identify priorities and opportunities to improve quality of life for everyone who lives here,” health partners shared in a joint statement.

The brief survey is open to all Muskegon County residents now through August 20, 2026, and is available online in both English and Spanish:

Public input gathered through the CHNA will directly inform upcoming strategic health initiatives, grant funding allocation, and community outreach programs designed to build a healthier Muskegon County.
