BID – 2026 Lift Station Improvements

The City of Muskegon is requesting Bids for the construction of 2026 Lift Station Improvements. Bids for the construction of the project will be received at the Clerk’s Office located at 933 Terrace Street, Muskegon MI 49440, until 2:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, February 12, 2026. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

This project includes improvements to the Industrial Park, Sherman, Beach, and Barney lift stations. Industrial Park includes remove and replace electrical and controls, replace wet well vent, replace piping and valves from pump base through valve chamber, and all associated work including surface restoration, HMA, and concrete. Sherman includes remove and replace electrical and controls, replace wet well vent, replace piping and valves from pump base through valve chamber, replace debris basket, install safety grate on wet well hatch, and all associated work including surface restoration and concrete. Beach includes replacement of the relay panel, retrofit safety grate on wet well, install valve chamber sump pump, reseal and coat control panel, install lifting chains and pressure gauges, and all other associated work. Barney includes reseal and coat control panel, install lifting chains and pressure gauges, and all other associated work.

Bidding Documents will be emailed in portable document format (PDF) at no charge; hard copy documents are not available. Non-biddable documents may be viewed in the on-line Bid Room at www.fveng.com.

The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held.

The City of Muskegon reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Muskegon.
