BID – Washwater Pump Foot Valve Replacement

RECEIPT OF BIDS

Sealed bids for the above project will be received by the City of Muskegon of 933 Terrace Street, Muskegon, Michigan until:

2:00 pm (local time) on Thursday, February 19, 2026

at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

SCOPE OF PROJECT

The project consists of furnishing underwater services to complete the following in Finished Water Reservoir No. 2 at the Water Filtration Plant:

• Remove and replace existing foot valves for Washwater Pump No. 2 (WWP2) and
  Washwater Pump No. 3 (WWP3) located in the reservoir, including installation of
  permanent pipe supports. The foot valves will be supplied by the Owner.
• Cleaning of the reservoir interior. Discharge from cleaning operation shall be to the
  Recycle Pump Station wet well as identified on Exhibit A.
• Complete inspection of the reservoir interior to assess condition of concrete and various
  reservoir appurtenances. Provide written inspection report with photos and
  recommendations, and video recording of inspection.
• All other associated equipment, fittings, and mechanical work.
  Including all necessary appurtenances, disinfection, and post-construction cleanup.
