Election Day August 8, 2023

The City of Muskegon will be having an August 8, 2023 Primary in two of our four Wards. This impacts voters who vote in precincts 5 (Smith Ryerson), 6 (City Hall), 7 (City Hall), 11 (Celebration Community Church), 12 (McGraft Park), 13 (Lakeside Baptist Church), and 14 (Great Lakes Museum). In Wards 2 & 4, there are three candidates who filed for one position. The top two vote getters from each Ward will move on to the General Election in November.

In Ward 1 no one filed as a candidate and in Ward 3 one person filed as a candidate. Neither Ward requires an August Primary Election.
