Help Keep Our Streets and Sidewalks Clear – Report Grass, Leaves, and Debris

The City of Muskegon reminds residents that it is against city ordinance to place grass clippings, leaves, yard trimmings, tree debris, ashes, soil, or household waste in public sidewalks, streets, gutters, drains, ditches, alleys, or roadways (Sec. 74-10, City Ordinance).

If you notice yard debris in these areas, you can help keep our community safe and clean by reporting it through SeeClickFix or calling the Planning Department at 231-724-6702. When submitting a report, select the category: Grass, Leaves, or Debris in the Street/Sidewalk.

Your reports help city staff quickly address problems and maintain safe, accessible streets and sidewalks for everyone.
