Ottawa Street Bridge Removal – Public Input Opportunities

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), in collaboration with the City of Muskegon, is hosting a public open house, Tuesday, January 13, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., in the Muskegon City Hall lobby, 933 Terrace St. This informal, drop-in event is an opportunity to review project details, ask questions, and learn more about the proposed Ottawa Street Bridge removal project. No formal presentation will be provided.

Community members who cannot attend the open house can still provide input. Public comments are being accepted by email or phone through January 27, 2026.
