Trash & Yard Waste Pickup Delayed Due to Weather (December 2nd, 2025)

Republic Services has informed the City of Muskegon that today’s trash collection (Tuesday, December 2) will be delayed until tomorrow, Wednesday, December 3. This delay is due to current weather conditions and safety concerns.

In addition, yard waste will not be collected this week.

Republic Services plans to collect yard waste next week, which is expected to be the final week of seasonal pickup.

A quick reminder:

Yard waste bags cannot be buried in snow. Please make sure bags are visible and accessible so crews can collect them next week.
