Spring Clean in the Parks!

Join the City of Muskegon Parks & Recreation team and your neighbors. Volunteer to participate in the first annual Spring Park Cleanup! Together, let’s make our parks shine for everyone to enjoy this spring season. Spring Clean includes the following parks:

  • Beukema Playfield – 1188 Wesley Ave
  • Marsh Field – 1800 Peck St
  • McGraft Park – 2204 Wickham Dr
  • Pere Marquette & Margaret Drake Elliott (Meet at Bath House) – 3510 Channel Dr
  • Reese & Bike Path (Meet at Reese Playfield) – 1685 Creston St
  • Seyferth Park – 2250 W Sherman Blvd
  • Sheldon Park – 1059 E Isabella Ave
  • Smith Ryerson Park – 650 Wood St
  • Veterans Park – East end of Muskegon Lake along the Causeway

Friday, March 29, 2024, 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM at each park. Volunteers are encouraged to BYO gloves, rakes, and/or hand blowers if possible.

Special Events

We are proud of the wide range of events hosted in Muskegon. There are year-round activities for residents and visitors to enjoy.  To coordinate your own event, review the Special Event Policy and complete the application. For questions email us at [email protected] 


Sport Leagues

There are several park facilities from beach volleyball courts to pickleball courts for leagues to utilize.  If you’re interested in beginning a league at one of our parks, review our sport league policy and apply!
